Postponement of French terrorism suspects trial transferred from Syria
It was decided on Monday to postpone the trial sessions of eleven defendants holding French nationality, who were previously transferred from Syrian territories and accused of terrorism-related files, to be held on various dates during the final days of the current October. The competent judicial authorities reviewed the files of the French defendants, resulting in a decision to adjourn their sessions to take place on the twenty-sixth, twenty-seventh, twenty-eighth, and twenty-ninth of the current month. The distribution of the detainees across these dates came based on the administrative and legal procedures specific to each judicial file separately, amidst a lack of disclosure regarding further details concerning the nature of the sessions.
