The Ministry of Defense announced, on Sunday, the martyrdom of two fighters and the injury of two others in the explosion of an explosive device from ISIS remnants in Nineveh Governorate. A statement by the ministry reported that the Al-Jazeera Operations Command - Seventh Infantry Division mourns two of its heroic fighters who attained martyrdom as a result of the explosion of an explosive device left behind by the terrorist ISIS within the sector of responsibility of the 27th Infantry Brigade, during a search and sweep mission north of the Rawa desert south of Nineveh. The incident also resulted in the injury of two fighters, who were transferred to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment. It added that the heroes of the army will continue, with unwavering determination and firm will, to carry out their duties in various sectors of responsibility, day and night, to pursue terrorist elements, dry up their sources, direct decisive blows to their dens, and deprive them of any safe haven, until the elimination of what remains of them and the consolidation of security and stability throughout our dear homeland.
