Extensive security campaigns to track threats

Counter-terrorism formations carried out, on Monday, extensive and simultaneous inspection operations in a number of districts and sub-districts within Najaf, Diwaniyah, and Wasit provinces, as part of a coordinated security plan. The agency explained in a statement that these operations come within the framework of its preventive and proactive efforts aimed at preventing any activity that might threaten the security of citizens and the stability of the country. The Counter-Terrorism Service also stressed the continuation of carrying out its security and intelligence duties in various provinces, which enhances stability and preserves the safety of Iraq and its people.
