Military Intelligence Announces Seizure of ISIS Weapons Cache in Diyala

The Military Intelligence Directorate announced today, Tuesday, the seizure of an old weapons and ammunition cache belonging to ISIS terrorist groups in a remote area within the responsibility sector of Diyala province. The directorate stated that its intelligence and security detachment from the 23rd Commando Brigade managed to locate the cache based on precise intelligence information. The inspection operation resulted in the seizure of two RBG-7 launchers, nine rocket projectiles, nine boxes of 14.5 mm ammunition, a 60 mm mortar bomb, a 12.5 mm ammunition belt, and seven rocket fuses. The directorate confirmed the continuation of its efforts to track down ISIS remnants, pursue sources of threats, and dry up the roots of terrorism, contributing to enhancing security and stability throughout the country.
