The General Directorate of Drug Affairs announced on Tuesday the successful dismantling of an international drug trafficking network and the seizure of 20 kilograms of hashish in a neighboring country. The directorate explained that the operation was the result of professional intelligence efforts and cross-border cooperation, with the Kirkuk Drug Affairs unit managing to lure and arrest one member of the network red-handed within foreign territory. The suspect's confessions and intelligence led to uncovering the rest of the network, resulting in the arrest of three additional individuals and the seizure of the drugs during this precise operation.
