The Baghdad Operations Command announced today, Tuesday, the arrest of several motorcycle and tuk-tuk riders following incidents of harassment in front of a school in the Al-Shaula area. The command stated in a release that the campaign was launched in response to citizen complaints, with units from Karkh Police and the Second Federal Police Division conducting an intensive operation to curb the gathering of motorcycle and tuk-tuk riders in Al-Shaula, Al-Jawadeen neighborhoods, and the agricultural entrance of Al-Khatib. The campaign resulted in the detention of several violators due to immoral behavior involving harassment in front of the school, as well as causing traffic congestion and disruption. It was emphasized that these measures aim to reduce negative phenomena that harm the reputation of Baghdad society and alleviate the burden on citizens.
