Higher Education Ministry Designates 2026/2025 as No-Failure Year for Specific Students

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has decided to designate the academic year 2026/2025 as a "year of no failure" for students unable to meet academic success requirements. This initiative aims to address their academic situations and offer them a chance to continue their studies. The Ministry clarified, in a statement, that this decision exclusively applies to students whose enrollments will be cancelled in the academic year 2026/2025. It encompasses all admission channels, both morning and evening studies, and all academic stages. Students whose enrollments were cancelled due to cheating, forgery, or disciplinary penalties are exempt from this decision. Furthermore, the decision mandates that a student must not have previously benefited from a "year of no failure" during their studies, nor from any prior reinstatement decision for cancelled enrollments. The Ministry emphasized that this move is part of its ongoing efforts to manage student academic cases and facilitate continued education for eligible individuals under prevailing regulations and instructions.
