Defense Minister stresses professionalism and constitutional commitment

Defense Minister Nayef Makeef Al-Shammari expressed his thanks and appreciation today, Friday, to the Prime Minister, political leaders, and members of the House of Representatives, emphasizing work with professionalism, firmness, commitment to the constitution, and the government program. Al-Shammari stated in a statement that the confidence of the peoples representatives is a national responsibility and a trust that words cannot fulfill, but rather actions and positions prove. He added that amid current challenges, he will work with professionalism and firmness, committed to the constitution and the government program, placing the supreme interest of the nation above all considerations. Al-Shammari affirmed that Iraq is a trust, its sovereignty is a pledge, and serving its people is a responsibility that will be fulfilled through deeds rather than words.
