Spokesperson Confirms Coalition Withdrawal and Full Iraqi Security Control

Sabah Al-Numan, Spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, confirmed Monday the full withdrawal of US and international coalition forces from Iraq by September 30. He emphasized the nation's sound security, with Iraqi forces maintaining complete control of all national territories. Speaking to the official agency, Al-Numan clarified that US and international coalition forces would finalize their exit from Iraqi soil on the specified September 30 date. He also noted the country's lack of any foreign military personnel or bases. He added that this withdrawal adheres to agreed timelines. Al-Numan described Iraq's security as "good," affirming full control of its lands and no national security concerns. He stated that Iraqi forces are deployed nationwide, highlighting that the relationship with the international coalition would transition to a distinct bilateral partnership.
