Security Media Cell Warns of Sedition Attempts Ahead of September 30 Security File Handover

The Security Media Cell denied on Sunday the accuracy of attempts to underestimate the security forces' ability to take over the security file by September 30. Lieutenant General Saad Maan, head of the Cell, stated that the coming days, specifically leading up to September 30, might witness an escalation in attempts to stir up disputes, sedition, and tribalism to occupy public opinion. Maan added that this phase requires high security awareness and an effective role for security media to counter such campaigns. He emphasized the importance of the September 30 date, reiterating that claims circulating about the forces' limited capacity to assume control of the security situation are baseless. He affirmed that the Iraqi security forces possess full capability and readiness to manage this vital file, are continuously developing, and have all the necessary qualifications to take over the security file on the specified date.
