The Directorate of Military Intelligence announced on Sunday the capture of "Abu Saher," identified as one of ISIS's most prominent leaders in Kirkuk. The directorate stated in a release that it conducted a precise pre-emptive operation. This operation resulted in the arrest of the terrorist element, who was wanted under Article (4/1) of the Anti-Terrorism Law, known by the alias "Abu Saher." He is considered a high-value target by security agencies. The raid was executed through effective cooperation and coordination between the Eighth Division Intelligence Section and the Yayji Intelligence Branch. Intelligence information indicates that the apprehended terrorist held several positions within what was known as "Wilayat al-Iraq" (Iraq Province).
