Salah al-Din Investment Commission Director Arrested for Squandering Funds

The Supreme Judicial Council announced on Friday the arrest of the Director General of the Salah al-Din Investment Commission over squandering public funds. A judicial statement explained that the Salah al-Din Investigation Court specializing in integrity cases successfully executed the arrest regarding violations in a local investment project. It confirmed that full legal measures were taken, recording his statements and detaining him under Article 340 of the Iraqi Penal Code.
