Arrest of a suspect on sorcery charges in capital

The Baghdad Al-Rusafa Police Command announced on Friday the detention of an individual caught practicing sorcery and witchcraft in one of the Rusafa areas, alongside seizing various materials used in these activities. An official statement clarified that units from the Al-Amin Police Department and Al-Baladiyat Police Station executed the operation, confiscating talismans, books, and other items suspected of being utilized for sorcery. The command added that the suspect was placed in custody pending necessary legal procedures against him.
