Parliamentary meeting hosted by government finance and central bank to discuss exchange rate

The House of Representatives will host an expanded meeting this evening, featuring the Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance, the Governor of the Central Bank, and heads of parliamentary blocs, to discuss the decision on raising the exchange rate. MP Alaa Al-Haidari confirmed that the parliament presidency will hold the meeting in the presence of Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidy, Finance Minister Faleh Sari, Central Bank Governor Nizar Nasser Hussein, and bloc leaders. Al-Haidari explained that the gathering is dedicated to examining the decision to raise the US dollar exchange rate and discussing its repercussions and various reflections on the country's financial and economic situation.
