Judiciary Uncovers Manipulation in Registration of 13 Amarah Municipality Land Plots

The investigative court specialized in integrity cases in Maysan revealed on Wednesday the discovery of tampering in the registration procedures for thirteen land plots belonging to Amarah Municipality. Located in Abu Rummanah and Maghriba, these plots were registered illegally. The concerned judge explained that the investigation led to the arrest of seven suspects: six employees from Amarah Municipality and one from the Real Estate Registration Department. This operation was conducted in cooperation with the Integrity Commission and specialized security forces. The suspects were detained in accordance with Article 340 of the Penal Code.
