Al-Rafidain Announces Record Electronic Collections Valued at 1.35 Trillion Dinars

Al-Rafidain Bank announced significant growth in electronic collections during August 2026, with its total value reaching 1.35 trillion dinars, marking an 81.5% increase compared to the previous year. The bank clarified that the value of settlements executed on behalf of government departments exceeded 1.350 trillion dinars in August 2026. These settlements encompassed 77,671 transactions across 2,836 government entities. Compared to August 2025, the value of settlements rose by 81.5%, their number increased by 24.2%, while the number of government departments actively using the system grew by 33.5%. These results affirm tangible progress in expanding electronic collection, enhancing the efficiency of government revenue management, and promoting transparency and digital transformation within state institutions.
