Iraq, UAE Urge De-escalation and Peaceful Conflict Resolution

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his Emirati counterpart, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, discussed regional security developments and ways to enhance stability on Sunday. During a phone call, both ministers underscored the necessity of avoiding escalation and resolving disputes through peaceful means. Minister Hussein received a call from the Emirati minister to discuss bilateral relations between the two fraternal countries. They explored avenues for further developing these ties and strengthening joint cooperation across various fields. The two sides also addressed the latest security situation in the region, including developments in Yemen, in addition to reviewing Iraq-Gulf relations. Emphasis was placed on the importance of bolstering these relationships to maintain their robustness, thereby contributing to regional security and stability.
