Iranian Official Conditions Nuclear Talks on Meeting Demands
A senior Iranian official stated that the country will not discuss its nuclear program during the talks scheduled for Monday with the "Makkah Alliance" delegation, emphasizing that the United States must first meet Tehran's conditions to end the conflict definitively. The Iranian demands, submitted to Washington through intermediaries in mid-September, include lifting the US blockade on Iranian ports, easing sanctions on oil exports, and ending combat operations on all regional fronts. Separately, US President Donald Trump previously announced that no military strike on Iran would take place on Monday. Trump added that he is working to ensure Iran never acquires nuclear weapons, noting that the nuclear issue will be resolved soon one way or another. He also stated that the US is performing well regarding the Iranian file and possesses deep intelligence information on the matter.
