Al-Zaidi Emphasizes Importance of Supporting Palestinian Rights

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi emphasized today, Monday, the importance of strengthening regional and international cooperation and coordination to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and restore their full rights on their historic land. This came during a meeting held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, where bilateral relations and recent developments in the Palestinian arena and occupied territories were discussed. Al-Zaidi reaffirmed his country's firm stance on the Palestinian cause, stressing the need for joint efforts to end the suffering of Palestinians by restoring their historic rights. For his part, President Mahmoud Abbas expressed his appreciation for the meeting, praising Iraq's significant efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause and protecting the rights of the Palestinian people.
