Interior Ministry announces arrest of three hundred suspects and seizures

Extensive security operations carried out by the Rapid Response Division units of the Interior Ministry resulted in the detention of three hundred and eight suspects on various criminal and legal charges. The head of relations and media at the ministry, Major General Miqdad Miri, stated in a statement that those apprehended include thirty-one suspects in integrity cases, fifty-five suspects in drug-related files, sixteen suspects listed under anti-terrorism provisions, and two hundred and six wanted individuals with various judicial arrest warrants. These operations were executed through one hundred and twenty-four security and specialized missions, including one hundred and ninety-six field patrols, seventy-eight ambushes and checkpoints, one hundred and one security checkpoints, in addition to two sweep operations, three tasks to remove violations, and containing three tribal conflicts. The inspection operations resulted in the confiscation of twenty-one diverse weapons, three hundred and fifty-six pieces of ammunition, thirty-two ammunition magazines, and one hundred and thirty-one live rounds. Seizures also included cash exceeding six million dinars and one million US dollars, alongside eighteen mobile phones and various other materials. In the same context, the forces seized one thousand four hundred and twenty-five grams of crystal meth, three hundred and five grams of hashish, ninety-two diverse narcotic pills, and drug-taking equipment, as part ongoing efforts to enforce the rule of law, enhance security, and pursue outlaws.
