Security Forces Fully Prepared To Protect Stability And National Sovereignty

Announcing key directives from Commander-in-Chief Ali Al-Zaidi on Sovereignty Day, military spokesperson Sabah Al-Numan stated on Friday that Iraq has turned the page on the international coalition, with security forces taking full control. Al-Numan explained in a statement that this significant day is awaited by many citizens, witnessing Iraqi forces fully in command. He added that the occasion crowns the sacrifices of the population, martyrs, and wounded, shifting from coalition-伞 operations to parity and equality, transitioning toward bilateral relations. He noted the international community respects Iraqi valor, which successfully concluded the coalition's mission. Al-Numan clarified that the Prime Minister issued directives during an extraordinary ministerial security meeting to preserve these gains, maintain intelligence efforts, and keep forces at peak readiness to sustain notable security stability. He pointed out that coalition forces fought terrorism alongside security forces for twelve years, rendering their presence no longer necessary, while bilateral engagement begins.
