Security forces deny fighter jet crash during national celebrations

The Head of the Security Media Cell, Lieutenant General Saad Maan, denied on Friday the circulating news regarding the crash of an Iraqi F-16 fighter jet. Maan confirmed in press statements that all aircraft are safe, noting that the pilots painted an exceptional Iraqi aerial sovereignty canvas during the Sovereignty Day parade, and emphasizing that the reports about the fall of any aircraft are completely untrue.
