Security An aerial breach was recorded by fighter jets and military aircraft described as hostile into Iraqi airspace, amid considerations of this as a violation of the country's sovereignty, according to what was reported by the Iranian Tasnim agency. These flights were carried out via aircraft that took off from bases in Jordanian territory and occupied territories, with the monitoring of five support and aerial refueling aircraft of the KC-135 model within Iraqi airspace to provide operational support. The airspace witnessed the entry of two F-16 aircraft and two F-35 fighters. Concurrently, the Israeli newspaper Maariv published a report speaking about an aerial maneuver executed by Israeli F-35I aircraft within training exercises simulating the penetration of Iranian airspace, including American logistical support and aerial refueling over Iraq.
