Higher Education Extends Central Admission Deadlines

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on Saturday the extension of the timeframe for submitting applications to central admission channels until Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The ministry clarified in an official statement that this extension covers the general channel, distinguished students, martyrs' families, direct admission, elite students, and admission to the College of Excellence for Arabic Language and Literature at Kufa University. Officials confirmed that this step aims to provide additional opportunities for graduates of the first and second rounds to complete application requirements and review their admission options. Furthermore, the ministry noted that application forms for parallel public university education and private education will be launched later following the announcement of central admission results, stressing that applications will be conducted centrally and exclusively through the Qadam platform without requiring visits to universities.
