Defense Minister Orders Rapid Approval of Marriage and Travel Permits for Personnel Within a Week

The Defense Minister, Naif Makeef Al-Shammari, issued a directive on Wednesday to complete marriage approvals and travel permits for purposes including pilgrimage, medical treatment, and tourism for officers, ranks, and civilian employees within seven days. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Major General of Special Forces Yahya Rasool Abdullah, clarified that the seven-day period starts from the date of receiving the related transactions and requests. He added that this measure reflects the ministry's commitment to facilitating administrative procedures and ensuring timely processing of personnel affairs.
