Ballon d'Or 2026 Winner to Be Revealed in London

Attention is focused today on London, where the winner of the 2026 Ballon d'Or will be announced amid strong competition between French player Kylian Mbappé, Spanish player Lamine Yamal, and English player Harry Kane. Pascal Ferré, the former official in charge of the award, confirmed that winners have not been notified of voting results in advance since 2024, meaning all nominees will learn the winner's identity during the ceremony. The list of nominees includes top football stars such as Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Lionel Messi, and Erling Haaland. Ousmane Dembélé won the award last year, while Lionel Messi holds the record for the most wins with eight Ballon d'Or trophies.
