The commander of the US Central Command stated on Friday that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces are no longer present in the Strait of Hormuz, which they had monitored for decades. He mentioned visiting US forces in the Middle East this week and witnessing oil tankers passing through the strait. He confirmed that US forces have removed Iranian mines from the Strait of Hormuz and remain vigilant to ensure freedom of navigation in the waterway. Additionally, US forces have assisted their partners in the Gulf in transporting over 1.5 billion barrels of oil since last summer.
