Three Injured in Landmine Explosion in Southern Muthanna Governorate

Three people sustained injuries on Sunday following the explosion of a landmine dating back to the 1991 war in the Abu Khuwaynah area within the Busayyah desert, southern Muthanna Governorate. The injured individuals work with the Third Seismic Crew specializing in regional oil exploration. The blast caused their injuries and resulted in noticeable damage to the Renault vehicle they were traveling in during their fieldwork.
