Prime Minister to Launch Distribution of 'Watan' Bonds in 2027 and Finance New Cities

Adel Al-Yasiri, head of the National Investment Commission, confirmed that the Prime Minister will commence distributing the "Watan" initiative bonds to citizens at the beginning of 2027. He explained that the Development Fund will finance the infrastructure of the new modern cities under construction. Al-Yasiri added that the Prime Minister formed a committee to establish integrated modern cities over an area of 10,000 dunams, and the project has been referred to a global consulting firm. He pointed out that some ministries will relocate to new sites within these modern cities. He also confirmed that the Generations Fund will transform into a large-capital investment institution, with its revenues allocated to major projects, emphasizing the commitment to successfully implement the project of distributing one million residential land plots.
