Military Intelligence Thwarts Fuel Smuggling Attempt in Diyala

The Military Intelligence Directorate announced on Saturday the prevention of an attempt to smuggle fuel derivatives in Diyala province. The directorate clarified that units from the Intelligence and Security Department of the First Infantry Division, through coordinated security and intelligence efforts, managed to seize a vehicle loaded with kerosene during the smuggling attempt. The operation followed field intelligence monitoring that led to the arrest of the vehicle's driver. The directorate confirmed that the suspect, vehicle, and seized materials were handed over to the relevant authorities according to an official report to take the necessary legal measures.
