Kylian Mbappé has set winning the "Ballon d'Or" as a primary goal for himself this year, expressing his desire to bring the prestigious award back to Real Madrid. The striker for the royal club believes the conditions are favorable for achieving this feat for the first time in his career. Mbappé's ambition follows an exceptional season, where he finished as the top scorer in La Liga and the Champions League, in addition to becoming the all-time leading scorer in the World Cup. The last Real Madrid player to win the Ballon d'Or was Frenchman Karim Benzema in 2022, after leading the team to both La Liga and Champions League titles. In statements made during a newspaper interview, Mbappé clarified: "I believe this is a good year to win it. My best lawyer is my feet, no matter what I say. The most important thing for me is for the Ballon d'Or to return to Real Madrid." He added: "It must return to Santiago Bernabéu, to Real Madrid's fans, and return for all those people to give them hope. These people deserve it more than anyone else."
