Life Imprisonment for Drug Dealers in Maysan

The Maysan Criminal Court issued on Wednesday a life imprisonment ruling against two convicts for drug trafficking offenses. The judiciary media stated in a statement that the convicts were found in possession of 12 bags of crystal meth weighing a total of one kilogram, which they intended to trade and sell among abusers. The statement added that the ruling was issued pursuant to the provisions of Article 27, First, of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 50 of 2017.
