Juan Martínez Moneira to Officiate Barcelona vs Real Madrid Clasico Match

The Spanish Football Federation has appointed referee Juan Martínez Moneira to officiate the upcoming Clasico match between Barcelona and Real Madrid, scheduled for Sunday at Camp Nou as part of the La Liga competition. Moneira will be assisted by Diego Barbero and Miguel Martínez, while Javier Iglesias will serve as the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) with support from José Antonio López. Moneira has previously officiated four matches between the two teams, with Real Madrid winning three and Barcelona one, including a notable 4-0 victory for Real Madrid in the 2023 Copa del Rey semi-final. Barcelona leads the league standings with 27 points, six points ahead of third-placed Real Madrid.
