Iraqi Security: Civilian Dies of Wounds in Kirkuk After ISIS Site Targeted

Iraq's Security Media Cell announced Sunday the death of a civilian woman. She succumbed to injuries sustained during the targeting of an ISIS remnants' site in Kirkuk province. Security forces had detected, late Saturday evening, the movement of two ISIS elements near Al-Malaha village, within the 11th Division's sector under the Kirkuk Operations Command. Following this detection, military units engaged the observed location by firing two mortar shells. The incident led to the injury of a civilian woman who was near the site. She was urgently transported to the hospital for medical attention but later passed away from her wounds.
