Iraqi Parliament Concludes First Reading of Traffic Law Amendment Bill

The Iraqi Council of Representatives today, Sunday, concluded the first reading of the draft law for the First Amendment to Traffic Law No. (8) of 2019. The Council also voted to form a temporary parliamentary committee tasked with pricing, marketing, and trading medicines. The Council of Representatives had held its 15th session for the day, which falls within the first legislative year of the sixth electoral term and the second legislative session. The Council's media department stated that the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Heibat al-Halbousi, opened the proceedings of this session.
