Interior Ministry Member Injured by Gunshot and Man Attempts Suicide in Baghdad

A member of the Interior Ministry was injured by a gunshot to the neck on Thursday after shooting himself during a break within the protection sector at the General Company for Car Trading in the Kargoliya area of Baghdad. His health condition is reported as unstable. In a separate incident, a man born in 1986 attempted suicide by hanging using a cloth tied to the ceiling of his home in the Zaafaraniya area, reportedly due to psychological pressures. The man was transported to the hospital for treatment, and his health condition is described as stable.
