The Ministry of Health announced Sunday the successful control of a fire that erupted at Ibn Al-Haytham Specialized Eye Hospital in the capital, Baghdad, confirming no human casualties were recorded. Ministry spokesperson Saif Al-Badr explained that the minor fire originated in one of the hospital's private electrical generators due to an electrical short circuit. Al-Badr added that the hospital's civil defense unit promptly extinguished the blaze, reiterating that no injuries occurred.
