Financial corruption funds recovered in the capital city

The Supreme Judicial Council announced on Monday the recovery of 4 billion dinars in a financial and administrative corruption case. A statement indicated that the Al-Rusafa Investigation Court, specialized in integrity and money laundering cases, recovered a financial amount of 4 billion Iraqi dinars for the benefit of Al-Rafidain Bank. The specialized judge explained that the recovery operation came against the background of financial and administrative corruption crimes, as part of the judiciary's continuous efforts to protect public funds and combat corruption. He added that the judicial procedures and accurate investigations conducted by the court resulted in the recovery of this amount, confirming the continuation of legal procedures against violators who follow illegal methods to achieve profits that harm public funds.
