Bloomberg reported, based on ship tracking data, that the VLCC "Agios Fanourios 1", loaded with Iraqi crude oil and bound for Vietnam, is currently anchored in the Gulf of Oman after being forced back by the US Navy. The data showed that two ships loaded with cooking fuel bound for India appear to have crossed the Strait of Hormuz, despite ongoing US and Iranian restrictions, raising the number of large vessels that have crossed the strait since Sunday to nine. It indicated that the tanker "NV Sunshine", which carried LPG from the Ruwais refinery in the UAE, stopped broadcasting its location after crossing the strait, where its last location was spotted east of Iran's Larak Island early Thursday heading to Mangalore port in India. It added that the tanker "Simi", an LPG carrier, appeared in the Gulf of Oman after turning off its transponder, and was transporting fuel from Ras Laffan in Qatar to Kandla port in western India. Bloomberg noted that some of the nine ships that crossed the strait remain within what it described as the "US blockade line".
