Zelensky Affirms Commitment to Deepen Iraq Bilateral Dialogue
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky affirmed on Saturday his country’s commitment to expanding mutual cooperation with Iraq, highlighting his intention to intensify bilateral dialogue and achieve practical outcomes that benefit both nations and their peoples. The Ukrainian Embassy stated that President Zelensky addressed a congratulatory message to Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi on Iraq's National Day. In his message, the Ukrainian President underscored the long-standing historical relations and enduring partnership between the two countries, reaffirming Ukraine's keenness to preserve this solid foundation while providing new momentum to Ukrainian-Iraqi cooperation. He emphasized his determination to deepen talks with tangible results serving both countries. Zelensky concluded the cable by wishing al-Zaidi good health and success in his governmental responsibilities, while extending wishes of peace, stability, and prosperity to the friendly Iraqi people.
