Ukrainian President Announces Targeting Warships and Military Shipments in Caspian Sea
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian forces successfully targeted a Russian warship and other vessels involved in transporting military shipments linked to Iran, all operating within the Caspian Sea. Writing on the 'X' platform, Zelenskyy highlighted "very strong results" from these long-range strikes in the Caspian Sea, specifically citing the targeting of ships used for military supplies connected to Iran. The Ukrainian President affirmed that his nation continues to impose broad sanctions in response to ongoing Russian aggression, noting that Ukrainian forces also hit targets in various Russian regions. He further clarified that a factory in Kirov, supplying Russia with weapon components used against the Ukrainian people, was again among the objectives. Zelenskyy concluded that these long-range operations in the Caspian Sea, which struck both military shipment vessels with Iran and a warship, yielded "breathtaking" results.
