Trump stated via his Truth Social platform that the Islamic Republic requested the continuation of "discussions," and this was accepted. However, he clearly emphasized that the ceasefire has ended. This follows a previous statement by Trump last Wednesday that the memorandum of understanding with Iran regarding a ceasefire had concluded.
