The Supreme Judicial Council today, Sunday, reaffirmed its constitutional commitment to upholding the law and safeguarding rights and freedoms. A statement from the Council, issued on International Law Day, clarified that the rule of law forms the essential foundation for building the state, consolidating its institutions, ensuring rights and freedoms, and achieving justice and equality among all members of society. The judiciary further affirmed its dedication to elevating the law, protecting rights, and establishing principles of justice and equality, thereby strengthening public trust in state institutions and enforcing the principle of universal submission to the law without discrimination.
