Sudani to receive national team after World Cup qualification

The media office of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani confirmed that he will receive the national team following their qualification for the 2026 World Cup.

The reception is scheduled for Friday in recognition of the team’s achievement.

An official celebration will take place on Saturday at the government palace, attended by players’ families and cabinet members.
