Starmer welcomes progress towards US Iranian agreement ending war

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Sunday welcomed the progress made toward concluding an agreement ending the war in Iran, after US officials spoke of a possible announcement in this regard later today.

Starmer wrote on the X platform, "We will work with our international partners to seize this opportunity and reach a long-term diplomatic settlement."

Starmer emphasized that it is essential that Iran must never be allowed to manufacture a nuclear weapon.
