Speaker of Parliament Directs "Immediate" Release of Suspended Salaries for Martyrs and Wounded, Forming Monitoring Committee

This directive followed an extensive meeting hosting the heads of the Accountability and Justice Commission, the Martyrs Foundation, and the Pension Agency, where Al-Halbousi emphasized the necessity of disbursing dues suspended without legal grounds once the beneficiary provides a "guarantor." The meeting also decided to form a specialized parliamentary committee to monitor auditing procedures and ensure that random suspensions affecting this sacrificing segment do not recur during this year.
