Security Forces Seize Unknown Hand Grenade Outside Dhi Qar Council Member's Home

Security sources in Dhi Qar province revealed on Friday the seizure of an unidentified hand grenade placed in front of a provincial council member's home. Information confirmed that police discovered the hand grenade outside the residence of Sheikh Salem Al-Ismaili, a member of the Dhi Qar Provincial Council, in Nasiriyah district. The reasons and motives behind placing the grenade remain unknown to date. Al-Ismaili has filed an official complaint against the unknown perpetrator, awaiting their identification and prosecution.
