Saudi Arabia Summons Iraqi Ambassador Over Drone Attacks

Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Iraqi Ambassador Safia Taleb Al-Suhail.

The ministry said the move followed attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and Gulf states.

It added the attacks were carried out by drones launched from Iraqi territory.

During the meeting, Saud Al-Sati delivered an official protest note.

Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the incidents.

It rejected the use of Iraqi land to threaten regional security.

Riyadh urged Iraq to act responsibly.

It stressed the need to prevent further attacks.

The Kingdom reiterated its rejection of sovereignty violations.

It said it will take necessary measures to protect its security.

It affirmed readiness to defend its territory and stability.
