Saudi Arabia and Spain emphasized Wednesday the return of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to normal and not imposing any fees on transiting the maritime strait. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan stressed the "importance of returning navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to normal," highlighting the "importance of maintaining navigation security in international waterways." Prince Faisal added during a joint press conference with his Spanish counterpart, José Manuel Albares, that "navigation security in Hormuz forms a basis for global economic stability." For his part, the Spanish Foreign Minister stressed the necessity of "not imposing any fees on the passage through the Strait of Hormuz."
