Putin Affirms Russia's Readiness to Support Resolution of Iranian Crisis in Meeting with US Envoy

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared during his meeting with US envoy Steve Witkoff that Russia is ready to assist in resolving the Iranian crisis. Putin highlighted the special relationship and mutual trust between Russia and Iran and its partners, built over decades. He added that if Russia can play any role in settling this crisis, it would be pleased to do so. Putin also expressed interest in hearing the US envoy's assessment of the situation in the Middle East, particularly regarding Iran, if permitted.
